A poem to ponder as you build your pumpkins. This was from the Boost Light Night. We are working on Making Fun Happen every single month. This month I came together with women who have shared this journey with me and inspired me every step of the way! We kicked off the launch of the Boost Light Book and our first Boost Light Night! I am so overwhelmed with gratitude for these beautiful women.

Our Pumpkin in Pieces
Here are all your pieces.
Separated out like this they don’t look like much.
Some of the pieces are actually broken, some are torn, and some are cut.
But we’re gonna weave them together. And with each piece you put together I want you to think about
something that you’re mending
something that you want to mend
something that you thought was broken but when you place it here you can see that if it fits just right.
Think of every little piece of this as a piece of gratitude for the things that you have.
For the things that you’ve worked hard for.
For the obstacles and hurdles you’ve jumped for the life that you’ve built.
There are bumps
There are bruises
but there’s also beauty.
Amazing tremendous strength,
and light.
