Setting Your Intentions for Success

Goals are a fascinating part of life, shaping the way we grow and change. Each of us approaches goals differently, and sometimes, simply putting our intentions out into the universe can spark something powerful. Taking a moment to really think about what you want and why is key to creating goals that resonate deeply with you.

Some goals come easily—they rise to the surface and guide us naturally. Others are more challenging. These goals might be bigger, requiring us to dig deeper, face more obstacles, and summon strength we didn’t know we had. It’s all part of the journey.

Embracing the Ebb and Flow

In my own life, I’ve noticed an ebb and flow with goals. There are times when I’m motivated, focused, and ready to tackle anything, and other times when I’m simply happy to make it through the day. As I’ve grown, I’ve learned to appreciate all of these seasons and, most importantly, to give myself the grace to experience them without judgment. It’s allowed me to be kinder to myself, embrace life’s ups and downs, and recognize that everything has its season. When I’m energized and driven, I lean into that energy fully. But when I need rest, I honor that too, giving myself the reset time I need.

Writing Down Your Boost Goals

That’s where my Boost Light Book comes in—it’s a place to capture my goals and track my progress, even during the slower times. By organizing goals into touchpoints and milestones throughout the year, I remove the pressure to “do it all at once.” Breaking down larger goals into smaller steps makes them less daunting and easier to accomplish.

The first step is identifying the “WHAT” in your goal-setting journey. What do you truly want to pursue this year? Once you have a goal in mind, break it down into manageable steps, or milestones, which you’ll revisit regularly. This approach has helped me stay on track, organized, and ready to maximize my peak performance periods.

Setting Your Boost Goals

Let’s start by setting your intentions. Take a moment, close your eyes, and clear your mind. Say this out loud:

“I can do anything I put my mind to. Nothing is holding me back. I can create the life I want. I hold all the keys and all the power.”

Now, write down the first thing that came to mind. That’s it—your goal is born! Notice how obstacles might immediately start to appear in your mind. We’re going to use those hurdles as stepping stones. Each obstacle becomes a milestone on your journey toward success, a challenge to overcome on your path to achieving your Boost Goals.
